CES 2007: Dolby and Wii make beautiful music together

It’s rather amusing to note that these days, companies have started using the products of other companies in order to promote their OWN wares. It’s a symbiotic relationship of sorts.

In any case, the people at IGN have noted that the symbiotic partner at this year’s CED was the Nintendo Wii. As in the case of the Dolby booth, the trick apparently “worked like a charm” and managed to draw people to the booth to play Wii Tennis.

Ah. The crisp, clear sound of a tennis ball smacking into a racket which only Dolby’s Pro Logic II can provide…
