Cheating at card-games? There’s an app for that, too!

Some large casinos in California had seen cheaters use iPhone software to help them count cards. It seemed to have become quite trendy and their pals in Nevada got informed. What’s even better is that you can find this right in the App Store. More after the jump!

It seems that since last year the iPhone has been given more and more versatile applications – but who would have guessed that gamblers might use the trendy device as a cheating aid. From California, to Nevada, to eventually the whole gambling industry it seems that iPhone assisted cheating has become more and more common.

According to Nevada law it isn’t illegal if you count cards using your own human capabilities, but it becomes a felony if you decide to use the aid of an electronic device. As a sidenote, cell phones are disallowed in casinos but that doesn’t stop iPod Touch users from crossing the line.

The app is available in the App Store for $2.99 USD – but I don’t think you want to be the guy walking out in handcuffs. Use at your own risk.
