Confirmed: creating a PSP slim Pandora’s battery possible
Thanks to a timely tip from bobtentpeg, we’ve just gotten video evidence of some people turning their PSP Slim’s battery into a Pandora battery. The two videos from Xibit1987 and oorganic show off the means by which anyone can use Hellcat‘s Pandora Maker kernel 3.xx with the Slim battery to create a Pandora battery of their own.
According to what we’ve been able to find, Xibit1987 essentially began the process by taking a chance with Hellcat’s Pandora Making application. You see, Hellcat himself stated that the app shouldn’t be used with the PSP Slim battery. Despite this, Xibit (and then oorganic) decided to try it out, following the same basic instructions as the Pandora-making for PSP Phat batteries, and it managed to work.
In any event, here are the two videos for you. You can check them out for more information on how they did it, with Xibit’s (the first video) having some audio directions thrown into the mix. Enjoy!
