Coverflow - album covers for your MP3 files - Image 1When listening to MP3 files on your Sony PlayStation Portable, it’s nice to see a picture of the band displayed on the handheld who made the song. Well, if you believe the same, then this next one is for you.

Homebrew developer sony_psp_player has come up with a program that does exactly that dubbed as Coverflow. Know more about it in the full article via the “read more” link below.

Homebrew developer sony_psp_player dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a new LUA program dubbed as Coverflow. This particular release makes your music listening experience on the PlayStation Portable a bit more pleasing.

According to the owner, this program allows users to display a cover picture of the band that is currently playing on the Sony handheld. However, there are several considerations to make when using Coverflow:

  • Your music goes to MP3 folder and album art goes to the cover folder.
  • The MP3 and the .PNG have to have the same name (eg. song.mp3-song.png) and the PNG has to be either 32×32 or 64×64.
  • If it is bigger, the application will be slow and if it is smaller it isn’t very funny to look at the image.

As it currently stands, Coverflow is looking great already. But if you find some problems and features that need to be added, you can help the coder by informing him via the comment section below.
