Zack Fair
Zack’s a member of Shinra’s Soldier organization, ranking 2nd Class. Because of his dream to be part of of Soldier 1st Class and to be under Angeal Hewley, he grows serious and more focused. He becomes an ideal member who is admired by many.
Unfortunately, due to a mission in Wutai which reveals Shinra’s devious affairs, he is forced to face a harsh reality.
Angeal Hewley
Zack’s closest friend and revered senior, Angeal’s a Soldier 1st Class known for his sense of responsibility and wisdom. His good nature is one of the reasons that he is easily trusted by people, even Genesis and Sephiroth. The Buster Sword on his back was a gift from his parents. It represents his sense of pride.
His famous words: “To live as a hero, to live as a soldier, to live as a man, you must never forget your pride.”
Genesis
A Soldier 1st Class living life according to his own philosophy of aesthetics. His powers are at par with Sephiroth. He is extremely popular due to his physical charm and fighting style. Despite his popularity, Genesis doesn’t like the company of others and opens up only to Angeal and Sephiroth.
He suddenly vanishes along with a squad of 2nd and 3rd Class Soldiers after which he has been opposing Shinra ever since.
Sephiroth
The strongest Soldier that Shinra has ever introduced to the world, Sephiroth is hailed as a “hero”, performing tremendous tasks even when he was still a boy. He represents the power and prestige of the company.
One day, he discovers the truth about his birth, doubt begins to stir in his heart – enough to even make him strike against the company that made him.
