Datel Max Memory 1GB SD card for Wii

Datel logoDatel is a UK-based firm that makes products for video game consoles. It turns out they’re making a 1GB Max Memory SD cards for the Wii. According to Datel, it’s a good way to store all those gamesaves, images, music, and downloads.

Can you fill up 1GB capacity?

Not so sure you’ll find a need for all that space, but as anybody knows (and as Datel says), “you can never have too much memory space to store your gamesaves” – and if you’re like some of us (like fellow QJ writer Gino) you *do* need that much space for all your gamesaves.

There’s a bit of a bonus for those of you who are having trouble with some of your games. The Max Memory 1GB SD Card has preloaded with “Powersaves” for “the greatest Wii titles”. Not quite sure which game titles are included, but according to Datel, the Powersaves have built-in cheats, Action Replay, Infinite Lives, Infinite Health, All Levels, All Weapons, and more.

Personally, I’m more interested in the extra capacity, but the Powersaves seem interesting: while most of us would rather finish games without cheating, sometimes cheats are pretty nifty and fun to try.
