DBZ Budokai: In Europe this ’07, and hair-raising screenshots

I know a good wig store over at Jersey...

Good news for Europe: Your all-time favorite golden-haired, gravity-defying-do dude is making his debut next year (not the guy with the buster sword). Atari Europe just announced that this March, their residents can expect the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 title for the Wii to be blasting in on their retail stores.

For the guys who are probably grumbling “Yeah, well it’s been out in the U.S. ages ago…grrr…” look on the bright side, those months you’re gonna be sitting through could be put to good use, like rehearsing the moves you’re gonna need to pull off on the Wiimote – the game promises over 100 playable characters for your daily workout, with an additional six extra guys to pick out for the Europe release – kind of Atari’s way of saying they’re sorry the long wait.

Whatever the case, and whoever the character, we end this announcement with a friendly reminder – grip that Wiimote tight, lest your TV becomes the first casualty in your botched attempted Kamehameha. For now, we leave you with these pics to give you an idea of what you can do, and what some of the fighters can.
