DealExtreme PSP battery solutions: solar-powered, 4800 mAh dock

Third-party PlayStation Portable accessories over at DealExtreme are offering something new for gamers out there. Currently there are two offerings: one for a solar-powered battery; and another for a PSP Sim battery pack dock.

Online retail store DealExtreme is currently offering two third-party battery solutions for the PlayStation Portable. The first one is about a solar-powered battery pack while the other is a battery pack dock for the PSP Slim & Lite.

Like we mentioned, the first offering is a PSP battery capable of charging itself through solar power. It has a dimension of 6.46 in x 2.76 in x 0.79 in and weighs around 9.81 oz. Supposedly, it’s capable of providing 1800 mAh of power at full charge.

The battery pack dock, on the other hand, can offer up to a staggering 4800 mAh amount of power to your PSP Slim. Quite honestly, we haven’t seen anything like it before so might want to consider if that amount of power is safe for your handheld or not.
