Do You Practice “Wiican?”
Good thing Neo-Pagans have a better sense of humour than adherents of other faiths I could mention…otherwise, Nintendo would be in a pile of trouble…
Actually, Nintendo hasn’t registered the name “Wiican” – yet. They have, however, snagged “WiiCan” (as in “we can”?). Other recent registrations include:
– WiiClub
– WiiCommunication
– WiiDiary
– WiiHappy
– WiiHealth
– WiiHome
– WiiKids
– WiiMap
– WiiOnline
– WiiSenior
– WiiWords
– WWWii
As for the reason behind this spate of name-grabbing, we’re not sure. Most of these would seem to have no benefit to the company nor its upcoming gaming console. It has been suggested, however that “WiiCan” might also refer to canned soft drinks.
Ice cold NintenCola, anyone?
