Don’t Hold Your Breath, No Price Drop for Xbox 360
We thought the impending arrival of Nintendo’s Wii and Sony’s PS3 price announcement would rattle Microsoft just enough to bring the price of the Xbox 360 closer to earth. We were wrong. “We have no plans to make any price adjustment,” said Microsoft’s Xbox Euro boss Chris Lewis. “The last couple of days have reinforced the fact that we have a great value proposition, giving consumers choice, thanks to the core system.”
The sales of Xbox 360 is making the MS hop, skip, and sing all the way to the bank. They are so confident they will sell 10 million of their next-gen console by the time PS3 comes on the gaming scene in November. “We certainly donÂ’t think itÂ’s necessary to make any changes to the current price point” said he. Those of you who disagree, say nay!
