If you think you’ve seen the last of JNKPlat, then you’re wrong. Here’s a Third Edition for JNKPlat DS 08 from Jayenkai, and this update has got some “extra stuff, menu tweak, and editor fixes.”

In case you’re new to the scene, JNKPlat DS is a simple puzzle platform game. All you have to do is to get to the exit to complete each level. But of course, it’s not gonna be as simple as merely heading for the door. You have to figure out and strategize which nooks and crannies to go to in order to find that one correct path to the exit.

A lot of new stuff are in this new build. For one, there are now six more packs included in the Levels, upping the count to 67 in total. Another new thing is that when you get halfway through a level pack (the middle is at least five levels in), you’ll be able to restart from the Midway by pressing B on the menu.

And then some more good news: even though you don’t have DLDI, you will still be able to play the game. HOWEVER (so hold off the celebrations for now), you will not be able to save. Too bad, but at least you’ll get to play, right? For folks with DLDI, just stick the JNKPLAT/ directory into the root so you can save.

Oh, and there’s now a Level Editor Readme included in the file so you might want to check it out. The Blocks are listed in it. In fact, you should make checking the Readme that first thing you do when getting your dose of brew. Enjoy!
