EA replaces EA Link service with EA Store
Gamasutra reports that video game developer and publisher Electronic Arts has taken down EA Link, its online digital content shop. In its place, the company has unveiled the multi-format EA Store.
Through the EA Store, gamers can purchase digital content as well as physical discs for console games. EA has also revealed the new EA Download Manager app, a required install if any of you are interested in making purchases through the EA Store.
Titles purchased through the EA Store can be re-downloaded if necessary for up to six months. An optional payment of US$ 6 will let gamers extend those six months to two years. The company has yet to officially announce if these terms apply to those who purchased games through EA Link.
