EA’s Suderland: I like Natal, Sony’s got a lot of great games, and the Xbox 360’s maxed out
“Maxed out”. This was how Patrick Suderland, Senior VP of EA Games Europe, described the Xbox 360, in comparison to the PS3. This comment came in tow of Sony‘s and Microsoft‘s presentations at the recently-concluded E3 Expo.

That’s not to say he meant it in a bad way, however. Said Suderlan on Microsoft‘s presentation:
I like the Natal. That’s cool. It’s an interesting device, so I’m truly impressed by Xbox. It’s my personal favorite console… I think Microsoft is on a roll right now. They’re doing really well. If I was Sony, I would have a headache, to be honest.
He did say too, however, that Sony does have a lot of good games this year. “If you go to their booth, there’s a very consistent, high-quality product line-up and that will help them.” Now this is where the “maxed out” statement comes out.
I do think that we’ll see developers inside the organization getting to understand the PS3 better and I think that we’re getting more power out of PS3 right now… I think that we’ve maxed out the 360 but we haven’t maxed out the PS3.
Thoughts?
