Eat dust! ATV: Offroad Fury Pro released
Who here doesn’t want to get down and dirty in the mud? Y’know, splash and be splashed with mud like whoa? C’mon. Everyone was once a kid. And one cannot help but go back to being child-like (which is different from “childish”). Now for those of us who’d like to play in the mud like we did in our days as wee little kids, you can now head to the finish with ATV: Offroad Fury Pro.
To give us a refresher course down the muddy track of this game, here’s a list of features we can expect in the game:
- There’s a selection of more than 30 ATVs, MX bikes, buggies, and Trophy trucks to choose from.
- A vehicle tuning system allows you to change tire type, exhaust, gear ratios, and more, plus customizable component parts for vehicles and riders along with color designs and logos to place on panels and rider gear.
- Gamers can race with friends in the area or with other fans around the country via wireless multiplayer connectivity, either via Ad Hoc or Infrastructure Mode.
- There’s an online community where you can access message boards, rankings, profiles, and exchange game data with others.
Blaze your trails and come October 31, ATV: Offroad Fury 4 for the PS2 will be out, thus allowing you to share tracks and other vehicles into your system. It’s games like these that make being a kid such a thrill. It has the “mud” factor, plus the “my ATV is better than yours” competition.
