As you can see, the graphics are simple but the concept is almost unheard of. Echochrome makes use of developer Jun Fujiki’s Object Locative Environment Coordinate System which maps out digital actions based on camera perspectives. It’s a novel concept indeed and we’re hoping to see it applied more in the future.
Echochrome was first revealed in last year’s E3 show at Santa Monica. Though the project still remains mysterious, trust the guys over at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan to come up with something special when this one’s done. We’ll give you more updates as they come.
