Elite custom-painted Halo 3 themed Xbox 360 bundle
Now just in case the Xbox 360 Elite (a.k.a. the ephemeral “black magic woman”) won’t manifest itself onto retail shelves, then some of you guys might want to avert your attention to some other form of self-gratification. Despite fearing that our readers might doubt my sexual preference, I still insist on saying it: Master Chief is hawt. *awkward silence* Hey! You might be saying so yourself, especially after feasting your eyes on this eBay baby:
The mod/artwork is custom-painted by none other than budding (but rather well-known in some circles) artist Jeremiah Thiring, who’s recently been featured (in the cover, no less) of certain PC gaming magazines. The body of the 360 was hand-airbrushed with a profile of Master Chief and a Halo 3 “3” logo on the other side. The general theme has, to quote, “a realistic stone effect and water drops that look like you could wipe them off!!”
The entire bundle being sold on eBay isn’t just limited to a case mod too. Two wireless 360 controllers, which are going to be packed into the deal, are also finished with the same “water droplets” theme. As of writing, the bid is at US$ 925, and if you’re a the lucky Halo buff who wins it, you’ve got an option to have it John Hancock’ed and numbered “one of one” by the artist himself.
