Showtime Boxing on the Wii…Adrian!
For those who have been looking for more boxing games on the Wii, look no further. Zoo Digital Publishing‘s Showtime Boxing will be coming to the Wii this December 7 with a plethora of features that should keep boxing fans happy.
The game obviously takes advantage of the unique control scheme of the Wii, so blocking, punching, dodging and other actions are handled by the Wiimote. In a nod to today’s “customize everything” trend, the game also offers customizable hair, shorts, gloves and boots. You can unlock additional gear to slap on your fighters as you play through the game and win matches.
For those who are wondering on where your pugilists will be duking it out, the game offers four arenas for you to fight in: New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Be sure to check out the full list of features below to see what else the game has to offer:
Features:
- Choice of 14 boxers – seven heavyweights and seven lightweights – and six title series.
- Customise your character by changing their hair, shorts, gloves and boots.
- Unlock more boxers, arenas, clothing and gloves by winning matches and claiming titles.
- Each fighter has a special three punch combo which you can utilise to take control of the fight.
- Multiplayer through Wii Hotseat allows you to enjoy the boxing action with your friends.
- Compete in either one off bouts or take on a series in order to win those all important title belts.
- Features four different stadiums, each with their own characteristics – New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
The game looks to be a contender, so better start practicing on Wii Boxing fight fans lest you get owned by your little brother when this comes out. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates on Showtime Boxing for the Wii.
