Europe crosses its fingers for PSP price drop

While PlayStation Portables have undergone a price drop as of late in the US, prospective buyers in Europe may still have to wait a while to get their handhelds at cheaper rates.

“We have no announcements to make about the PSP in the European market at this time,” said a Sony spokesperson to game business website Games Industry.

The Core PSP bundle once sold for US$ 199.99 on retail, but is now available for US$ 169.99. In the UK meanwhile, PSPs are still sold at GBP 150 each.

 

The bundle includes the PSP handheld game console, an AC adapter and a battery. We’ll keep you posted for more information regarding price drops in Europe.
