Extended server maintenance for City of Heroes on January 29

Heads up, City of Heroes players! We’ve received word that NCsoft will be instituting an extended server maintenance on January 29.

The server maintenance will occur from 6 a.m. to 12 noon Pacific, and will lock all servers for the duration, so even if the server happens to be up, you still won’t be able to play.

City of Heroes players might be interested to know that on January 29, the CoH Servers will be down from 6 a.m. to 12 noon Pacific time for some extended maintenance.

Here’s the schedule of the server availability during the maintenance:

• 6 AM – All servers come down
• 7 AM – West Coast Servers should come back online
• This means the East Coast Servers will remain offline for the remainder of the maintenance window. The servers that will be down include:
• Freedom
• Pinnacle
• Liberty
• Infinity
• Victory
• Triumph
• 12 Noon – All servers available.

While some servers will come up earlier than others, it doesn’t mean you’ll be able to play on them though. According to the report we found, the servers will be locked and, therefore, unplayable for the duration of the maintenance period.
