Famitsu Scans Reveal Starting Pokemon
The three Pokemon you see in the top left scan are the starters for Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl! It was previously rumoured we’d be getting a dark, fighting, and psychic type, but those rumours have turned out to be false. The grass, fire, and water types again make a return. From left to right, their trademarked names are Naetle, Hikozaru, and Pochama. I wouldn’t be surprised if the names changed between the Japanese and English versions of the game. Most languages have different names for the Pokemon. They’ll all have the standard moves that were introduced in the first game. Naetle gets Razor Leaf, Hikozaru gets Ember, and Pochama gets Bubble. More information should be revealed seeing as we’re getting closer to the release date!
