FF and FF II 20th anniversary edition games’ shipping and price information
After waiting so long to find out the North American release dates of the two remastered Final Fantasy 20th anniversary edition games, we’re rewarded with more months of anticipation. Square Enix has confirmed when the classic games Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II will be shipped to North American retailers, and just how much excited FF fans should save up in order to purchase the two games.
Final Fantasy (rated E10+ by the ESRB) was given a June 26 shipping date, while Final Fantasy II (rated T) was announced to ship on July 24. The two games are given a suggested retail price of US$ 29.99, a few bucks less than the rumored US$ 39.99 pricing.
Hailed as the “blueprints of future RPGs”, the two classic FF games published by Square Enix will have updated graphics, new dungeons, an updated camera view, all-new character art, and full 16:9 widescreen presentation. Both games will have new content so even those who’ve played the original titles will come to love the Final Fantasy 20th anniversary edition games all over again.
No news yet if there’s going to be a playable demo, but at least we’re sure the games are coming. More news as we get them.
