Fighting on Mars in Red Faction: Guerrilla screenshots

Last February, we caught THQ‘s announcement about the third title in the sci-fi shooter series, dubbed Red Faction: Guerrilla and learned that it’s set to hit PCs, Xbox 360s, and PlayStation 3s everywhere before the first quarter of next year is done. We’re sure you guys remember the earlier iterations of Red Faction, and now that the fight is back on Mars, we’re sure a good lot of you are waiting for updates regarding THQ and Volition‘s upcoming sequel, Red Faction: Guerrilla. Today’s update will have us ogling at some screenshots from the said video game.

In case you’ve been living under a rock and missed THQ’s announcement last February, Red Faction: Guerrilla (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC) is a sci-fi third person shooter that picks up where the first two games left off. It’s set fifty years later and well, you will still be up against the EDF (Earth Defense Force) again. In the screenshots, we see some action on the red planet, some mechs, a pretty big explosion, and then some.
