Final Furlong finally racing to Wii this March?
Horse racing title Final Furlong has been under wraps for almost a year now. Back in May of 2006, it was included in the list of official third party titles that will grace the then unreleased Wii. Back in November, Namco Bandai reassured every one that the green light is still on for the title.
Aside from such statements, the videogame developer has been mum about the game. Well, the game is very basic and no earth-shattering details are expected. It’s going to be a remake of the classic arcade game in which players ride a giant, plastic horse. Wiimote will be very vital in gameplay, as always.
Anyway, we brought the topic up because there’s a listing for Final Furlong in GameStop‘s online retail store. If it turns to be true, the game should be out on March 30 with a price tag of US$ 49.99. It is also worth mentioning that the online version of magazine Electronic Gaming Monthly has a listing for the game as well.
It’s either Final Furlong is indeed already on its way and these sites somehow got hold of information, or one of them has an “insider” of some sorts and the other just reported on it. At any rate, we will give you updates as soon as they become available.
