Rumor: Wii hacked to run burnt DVDs?

Either this guy has two Wii’s plugged into that TV, or he figured out a way to get his Wii to run burnt CDs. Maybe the Wii CAN play burnt DVD copies of legal Wii games? However, that would mean that Nintendo did a very sloppy job with security. Oh well, people will hack what can be hacked I guess.

Anyway, the annoying thing about this is that given that this is a video, we have very little to go by, and things are very hard to confirm. Some people have pointed out that perhaps he’s not using a standard Wii, since the channels he’s got on are “weird,” some are still adamant that he’s plainly using two Wii’s to orchestrate this hoax.
