Firmware F900 for Hitachi 47 to Extract Security Sectors

Hitachi DriveThis is the perfect compliment to Commodore4eva‘s Xtreme Firmware for Hitachi 46D and 47D and 59 XBox 360 V1.1, since the generated SS would be compatible to it. And as fate would have it, this firmware that can extract security sectors from the 3120L version of Hitachi 47, comes from the brilliant mind of spectrum4eva. He says that he only released this tool because the SS cannot be shared since it’s copyrighted. Take note that this tool will only run on XP/W2K.

And now for the part you’ve been waiting for – directions.

the usage is very simple:

  getss.exe drive ss.bin

    drive->  is the letter of your 3120L DVD drive
    ss.bin-> is the generated SS file

to apply this patch use ppf-o-matic over your file.

to flash you drive yo need to flash the following  areas:

  9003e000 -> master checksum

  90024000 -> enable modeA

  90027000 -> main patch

He sends his thanks to everybody who has helped him with this project. Most especially to the guy that tests this firmware for countless hours.
