First details for Bust-A-Move Bash!

Bust-A-Move Bash!Bubble-bursting action is all set to crash down onto the Wii early next year with Majesco Entertainment‘s Bust-A-Move Bash! This title, which was licensed from Taito and was formerly known as Bust-A-Move Revolution, is Majesco’s first game for the Wii.

“The addictive bubble-bursting mayhem characteristic of the series reaches an entirely new level when designed especially for the innovative Wii Remote,” said Ken Gold, V.P. of Marketing. “Add the ability to have 8 people playing simultaneously and the mania is practically unlimited … not to mention exhilarating.”

The Wiimote‘s unique gameplay features, eight-person multiplayer, ten different playable characters, and new modes of play all combine to make Bust-A-Move Bash! a delightful treat for puzzle game fans. The new gameplay modes include Puzzle Mode, Endless Mode, Vs. Mode, and Shooting Mode.

There’s also a new feature called Hyper, which speeds up the gameplay and should add to the game’s intense puzzle action. Another new feature that makes its debut in Bust-A-Move Bash! is Slip. Slip causes bubbles to connect to similar colors even when the player’s aim is off – perfect for those who can’t even hit the broad side of a barn.

Bust-A-Move Bash! is developed by Happy Happenings and is scheduled to ship early next year. We’ll be sure to inform you of more details about this title when the info becomes available, so keep an eye on QJ for updates.
