What do you get when you throw Contra, Gears of War, and Devil May Cry into a blender? Well, a G.I. Joe video game apparently, as that’s how GamePro describes the new Joe adventure that’s headed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, DS, PSP, and Wii. The latest GamePro issue features an inside look at G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, complete with some first screenshots. Check ’em out after the jump.

The latest GamePro issue features an inside look at Electronic Arts‘ G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, complete with some first screenshots. Check ’em out below.
Too bad I don’t see Fumbles (the sniper with a doctorate) anywhere there. No mention was made regarding which platform the screenshots were taken from, but I’m willing to give the game the benefit of the doubt and say that they’re from either the Wii or PSP versions.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra will act as a sequel to the movie and will be released alongside it this August. Here’s hoping at least one of these two turns out to be decent.
