FlatOut Ultimate Carnage teaser trailer, screenshots, and 3D screenshot
Street racer lovers, turn away now. This not going to be pretty. FlatOut Ultimate Carnage for the Xbox360 has just released a teaser video and trust us, it’s going to give you nightmares.
What’s with the street racers disclaimer, you ask? Bugbear Entertainment‘s FlatOut Ultimate Carnage is not very friendly to beautiful pimped street racers, carnage being the operative term. In the trailer, we see a sweet red car – only to have it smashed in front of our eyes in a horrified pile up. Bugbear’s business development director, Jussi Laakkonen had this to say about the trailer:
The working title for the FlatOut Ultimate Carnage teaser was “smashing expectations”. Street racing games are all about pimping your ride with spoilers, fat rims and whatevers. FlatOut on the other hand is all about action. So when FlatOut does street racing, we do it with the sole purpose of wrecking those pimped up rides to unrecognizable lumps of charred metal.
(*shivers*) Just goes to show that FlatOut Ultimate Carnage is not your typical racing video game – think of it as Need for Speed hits destruction derby head on. The teaser trailer’s footage was “captured live from the game”, according to Laakkonen. Okay, so the pile up of bodies felt like it was too much but the trailer looks fun.
