Florida Bar sends Jack Thompson conduct complaint to SC

Some folks are definitely awaiting the September ruling - Image 1 It is sometimes hard to talk about Jack Thompson. The lawyer has already sued several people and companies and he has been sued probably twice as many times. But this one will direct you to one particular incident, and then we’ll continue from there. Do you remember Miami District Court Judge Ronald Friedman?

In case you’ve forgotten, he is the same exact judge who refused to block the sales of Bully back in October. Thompson was enraged by this decision and unleashed angry and uncalled for remarks at the man in robe. Now, that didn’t go off record as Friedman actually filed a complaint that addresses Thompson’s misconduct.

As if not fearing anything, Thompson further commented on the said 15-page complaint. His words are truthfully, well, kind of out of place. This is an example of such comments made by the lawyer,

The behavior of this judge was abominable which was made all the worse by the fact that he engaged in these childish antics in front of the media in the courtroom. Here’s a tip, Judge, I don’t just practice law. I save lives from reckless jurists like you. You missed the gay sex. I’m sure the voters are going to love that. Go ahead, Judge. File your bar complaint. Make my day.

As a result of all these, the Florida Bar upheld the complaint and was referred to the Florida Supreme Court. The supreme court, after browsing through the files thoroughly, assigned it to Miami Judge Dava Tunis for trial. If Thompson loses this specific trial, he will face professional sanctions.

Tunis’ report is due September 17 and we’re wondering if this will finally prompt Thompson to go and get himself a…tall glass of juice.
