Frame City Killer delayed again
Namco’s upcoming metropolitan assassin game for the Xbox 360 has been delayed again. This week’s Famitsu now lists the title as “Tba 2006”, since it didn’t make it to the February release date it was previously delayed to.
Powered by the newest iteration of Epic’s Unreal Engine, the game puts players into the role of Crow, a hitman sent to the East Asian metropole of Frame City in order to eradicate a drug syndicate.
The delay could be associated with the criticism the game has received for it’s unbalanced visuals. While some screenshots sported an impressive number of people on screen, others revealed ugly low-res textures (if you’ve ever seen that one shot with the red wall, you know what’s meant) and dull looking models.
So according to Namco we’ll find out as early as Spring if Frame City Killer’s ambitious scope will be marred by graphical compromises.
