Free Need For Speed: Shift DLC brings new cars, team racing in December

Electronic Arts will be shifting to a higher gear this December with the release of the first downloadable add-on pack for Need for Speed: Shift‘s PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. Even better, it’s gonna be free.

Electronic Arts will be shifting to a higher gear this December with the release of the first downloadable add-on pack for Need for Speed: Shift‘s PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. Even better, it’s gonna be free.

The free Team Racing pack will come with five new cars and, as the name suggests, a team racing feature which will involve two teams of up to six racers battling against each other.

Here’s the list of cars included in the pack:

• 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427
• 1967 Shelby GT-500
• 1969 Dodge Charger R/T
• 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T
• 1998 Toyota Supra Mark IV

The team racing pack will be available worldwide on the Xbox Live Marketplace come December 1. The PlayStation Store release has been set for December 3 in Europe and December 10 in North America.
