From the dark – Dementium: The Ward Emergency trailer

Nintendo’s wholesome handheld is far from untainted, but Renegade Kid‘s latest video game is still more than the Nintendo DS can handle. Or at least, Dementium: The Ward looks so good that nobody would guess it’s running on a system for Italian plumbers in 2D platformers.

Not only is it graphically impressive for the platform it’s made for, Dementium: The Ward is also disturbingly creepy. Here’s an odd trailer to give you a glimpse of what we’re talking about. Imagine Silent Hill with more monsters, cockroaches, and dirty walls that can make claustrophobic people cry, and you’ve got The Ward.

Don’t let this video fool you; even with scenes taken from real life, it’s still a trailer for a Nintendo DS game. Seriously.
