Full list of known bugs in patch v2.0.7
Alright, so you already have the World of Warcraftpatch 2.0.7 right there on your PCs. But if you’ve been following the recent developments on the whole WoW protest thing, you’ve probably picked it up by now that 2.0.7 is deemed by many as THE WoW patch that will redeem Blizzard and the whole Burning Crusade expansion.
So anyhoo, as a step into solving the whole matter, Blizzard has released the full list of known bugs in the recently released patch. And when we say full list, boy do we mean brimming full. Among the general bugs you’ll find are the following:
- The flight path from Evergrove to Swamprat Post will pass through a building in Thunderlord Stronghold.
- The Blood Elf Male walking animation has an improper attachment point for their 2 handed weapons.
Oh, but that’s not all of it. There are still a whole lotta bugs included in the list; all separated by Environment, Spells, Talents & Abilities, Tradeskills, Quests, Items, UI, and Monsters and NPCs. As we said, it’s a massive list so whaddya say we get this show on the road already?
Environment
- The Mechanaar elevator will not appear on some clients at times. Running the repair.exe utility and renaming your wtf/wdb/interface folders may help remedy this.
- The sign doodad from Valaar’s Berth in Azuremyst Isle is placed below the ground.
- Draenei do not leave footprints.
Spells, Talents, & Abilities
- Spellsurge enchant does not show mana gains in the combat log or with floating combat text enabled.
- Druid cyclone ability can be used on hunters and their pets while Bestial Wrath and The Beast Within are active.
- The reward buff “Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer” for “Victory for the Horde” does not affect Blood Elves.
- The left hand particle effect for Thekals Grasp and Arlokks Grasp isn’t displaying correctly on the tiger-man model.

Tradeskills
- The recipe for Golden Hare requires a cut citrine which is not available.
- The recipe for Gnomish Power Goggles require a reagent which is not available.
- There is a typo in the Recipe Description of Earth Shatter.
- Plans: Fiery Plate Gauntlets requires Armorsmith to learn.
Quests
- Etherem Relay mobs in the quest “Potential for Brain Damage = High” cannot be attacked if the Etherem essence wears off during combat.
- The Alliance quest giving item “Flute of Xavaric” does not drop for Draenei characters.
- The quest “A Crumpled Up Note” does not drop for Draenei characters.
- Upon turning in the Azuremyst Isle quest “Elekks Are Serious Business”, it attempts to launch a quest that may be previously completed giving a “You don’t meet the requirements for that quest” error.
- The objects in the Blood Elf Voidwalker quest, “The Stone” are said to be glowing red instead of blue.
- The quest “Missing Missive” gives Cenarion Circle reputation instead of Cenarion Expedition.
- Typos in the following quests and/or quest items:
- “Return to the Scryers”
- “Veil Rhaze: Unliving Evil”
- “Trollbane is Looking for You”
- “Jailbreak”
- “All Clear!”
- “Albreck’s Findings”
- “Tooga’s Quest”
- “Taken in the Night”
- “Diaphanous Wings”
- “Saving Princess Stillpine”
- “The Demoniac Scryer”
- “Captain Kelisendra’s Lost Rudders”
- “The Heart of Darkness”
- “The Exorcism of Colonel Jules”
Items
- The 2 piece set bonus from Netherweave does not stack with the 6 piece set bonus from Field Marshal’s Regalia.
- The 3 piece set bonus from the Defiler’s Leather armor does not apply properly.
- Oracle Belt of Timeless Mystery has an on use effect.
- Alliance and Horde versions of the PvP reward level 70 Rogue leather boots have different stats.
- Mok’Nathal Hero’s Pantaloons has no sell price.
- The Shatterstone Pick can not be used for mining despite looking like a mining pick.
- Thatia’s Self-Correcting Gauntlets (28390) are bind on equip.
- The visual information of the Frozen Shadoweave set bonus is increased by the Improved Vampiric Embrace talent.
- Fel Iron Chain Coif clips through dwarf beards.
- Aldor Guardian Rifle cannot be used.
- Grunt’s Waterskin and Footman’s waterskin have different stats but cost the same and require the same level of reputation.
- Totem of Lightning is better than the Totem of the Pulsing Earth.
- Satin Tunic mana bonus is not stacking with mana enchants.
- There is a typo in flavor text for the Felclaw Hide.
User Interface
- Joining the WorldDefense channel for the first time suppresses messages in the LocalDefense channel until a player relogs.
Monsters and NPCs
- Omor the Unscarred casts Treacherous Aura on vanity pets.
- Ward of Laze totem can be destroyed by AoE damage.
- The last wave of Fel Orcs in the Broggok encounter inside the Blood Furnace will respawn if the last orc is mind controlled.
