G2 Games’ Carte Blanche and First Eagles go gold

G2 Games has just announced that two of the games they are developing for the PC – the adventure title Carte Blanche and WW1 flight sim First Eagles – have both gone gold. Both titles are now all geared up and ready for their simultaneous November 24 release.

Carte BlancheCarte Blanche is a unique adventure title influenced by the very best of Hollywood Film Noir movies. See everything through the eyes of rookie P.I. Edgar Delacroix, who is new to the big city and ready for some rather intriguing adventures.

Since reality is often stranger than fiction, Carte Blanche provides a canvas to the player to reinterpret the Roaring Twenties in their very own investigative adventure.

Now, just because it’s all noir-ish doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun while saving the world in Carte Blanche. Although real life is at times a little crazy and absurd, Carte Blanche‘s universe brings these fields to new heights.

First EaglesFirst Eagles, meanwhile, is as far from Carte Blanche‘s roaring world as straight-laced boy scout Superman is from amoral psycho Lobo. This air-combat game for the PC aims to recreate all the romance, adventure, and excitement of engaging in great air battles over the trenches of France during World War I.

First Eagles is just the first game in a series of titles. More aircraft, missions and new campaigns from the era of the Great War will be added to as subsequent games are released.

Carte Blanche will be released in Europe on November 24. First Eagles will also be released on the same day, so it’s a definite one-two punch for G2.
