Gameplay Video of Taiko Festival Master For The Wii
The rhythm game Taiko Festival Master finds its way to the Wii! The earlier version of this game by Namco was originally released in PS2 and arcade formats, and so news of this game making an appearance in one of the next-gen consoles is a welcome addition the Wii’s growing list of games.
In this video, we get a glimpse of how this game will be played using the Wii’s Wiimote and nunchuk attachment.
Taiko Festival Master is basically a music and rhythm game where the goal is to strike the taiko (traditional Japanese drum) in perfect timing. This is achieved by following the cues that appear accross the screen. The music that is used for this game normally includes popular J-pop songs and anime themes, as well as some western drum-based classical music, and traditional Japanese music (which is the most fun to play, in our opinion). Namco originals and some mainstream American hits are also normally used.
