GBA’s Mazes of Fate sequel to grace DS?
If Sabarasa Entertainment had their way, the sequel to their GBA RPG title Mazes of Fate will make its appearance on the DS. At the same time, they’re also looking forwards to devving some titles for the Wii. That much they told N-Philes on their plans for the cutting-edge of Nintendo hardware.
CEO Javier Otaegui told N-Philes that currently, most of their efforts are aimed at punching out the Mazes of Fate sequel on the DS. This was in response to a question from N-Philes if the devs would consider porting the original Mazes of Fate to the DS, with full touchscreen functionality. All the same, they “might start thinking about creating Wii games in the short term as well.”
Presuming you have no idea what Mazes of Fate is, based on press releases and information from other sources, it’s your traditional, semi-turn-based RPG played from a rather unique first-person perspective (which explains why the featured GBA screenshot from IGN above looks kinda … odd). The game features a rather deep character customization feature so that you can create your own character, and, further, customize that character and his or her allies with a myriad of skills, spells, and equipment in the game world.
