GC 2007: Namco shows off Time Crisis 4
Light gun shooters are an arcade staple, but if you ask Namco, they’re planning to bring all the thrills that the genre has to consoles. They recently demoed off Time Crisis 4 on Leipzig‘s GC 2007 and it looks like an arcade-perfect port. Have a look:
Namco calls this the Office Building Battlecam trailer, and it’s obvious why. The clip features the setting and in the process, reveals some gameplay elements such as defensive maneuvers. The action seems pretty intense as enemies hound you on every turn.
Time Crisis 4 follows the adventures of the VSSE as they track down the most notorious criminal organizations in the world and give them the sting. Playing as either Evan Bernard or Giorgio Bruno, you must dismantle a black market arms dealer in Los Angeles by surgically embedding bullets into thug ribcages. Good thing you don’t need a medical degree for that. This one’s coming exclusively to the PS3.
