GCDC 07 to focus on Europe
GamesIndustry.biz has received word that this year’s GC Developers Conference (GCDC) in Leipzig will be focusing on European developers, publishers, and regional issues.
“For us, the idea of understanding Europe is very important,” said Frank Sliwka, project director of GC Developers Conference. “We want to put the spotlight on European themes and topics and to be a meeting point for experts from North America, Asia and Europe.”
Sliwka also revealed that for the first time, the GCDC will offer business solutions to developers hoping to enter the European or the North American markets.
With plans for E3 still unclear, Sliwka expects the Leipzig Game Convention and the GCDC trade event will attract a much larger audience this time. Better services are also being promised for this year, with new conference halls and better facilities to host an even bigger event.
