Gears of War reaches gold status

According to Microsoft Game Studios and Epic Games, Gears of War is all geared up and ready to go. They’ve just announced today that their highly-anticipated Xbox 360 game has just gone gold, and to celebrate this, gamers can head on over to their game rooms and download the sneak preview of the Gears of War TV and cinematic trailer on Xbox Live.

Xbox Live will also celebrate Emergence Day with 24 whole hours of nothing but special events, starting around 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, November 12. Those lucky lucky people with Xbox Live Gold memberships in North America will get the chance to join online tourneys, download videos, and win some cool prizes.
