GlovePIE v0.30: now with WiiGuitar support
Carl Kenner has come out with a new version of of his Glove Programmable Input Emulator, or GlovePIE. It’s now on v0.30 and comes with a host of new features, most notably the ability to read the WiiGuitar that comes with Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock.

Rejoice, for Carl Kenner has come out with a new version of of his Glove Programmable Input Emulator, or GlovePIE! For those who haven’t heard of it, GlovePIE is a program that essentially turns a host of different gadgets into input devices for your PC. What’s special about it is that it includes the Wiimote and Nunchuk as part of its supported devices.
Now on v0.30, one of the main new additions this emulator has is the ability to read the WiiGuitar from Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. Furthermore, GlovePIE also has support for TrackIR, FakeSpace Pinch Gloves, and Concept 2 Rowing machines, along with the host of other devices it supported previously.
The full changes are quite extensive and technical, so if you’re interested in knowing what’s new, you can find them in the documentation (Documentation, Whatsnew, and Readme files) included in the download.
If you’re hankering to see what new things GlovePIE has to offer, we suggest you take it out for a test run on your computer. Just remember to learn how to use it first! Enjoy!
