Google Video is now ready for PSP!

As we mentioned last weekend, Google has expanded it’s Video Download service to include pre-formatted videos for the PSP. This feature is now available, so here’s the instructions on how you and your PSP can benefit from the wonders of Google:

  1. Search for a video on Google Video.
  2. On the results page, click the video’s title or image thumbnail. If a Download button and a ‘Sony PSP’ option in the drop-down menu appear on the video’s playback page, you can download the video to your PSP.
  3. Select ‘Sony PSP’ from the menu, then click Download.
  4. Save the video to a location on your computer.

You may need to rename it so it follows the “M4VXXXXX.MP4” format where “XXXXX” is a 5 digit number for the PSP to recognize it. Now all we need is a way to do this completely on the PSP using the web browser… someone should work on that. 😉 As we mentioned last weekend, Google has expanded it’s Video Download service to include pre-formatted videos for the PSP.
