Fire up your PlayStation 3, gamers! An update to Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is now available on the PlayStation Network, with three very shiny, very sexy new cars lined up.
One of them is the GT by Citroen, whose real-life model debuted at the Paris Motor Show yesterday. The car was a joint venture between Citroen and Polyphony, the studio behind Gran Turismo. The car is supposedly the first “specifically designed to bring the virtual and real world together.” Visitors to the show in Paris can drive the car in a true-to-life simulator.
The other two cars lined up in the Prologue update are the Ferrari California and the Lotus Evora. Here they are, in order: the GT by Citroen (available for 1 million credits), the Ferrari California (300,000 credits) and the Lotus Evora (100,000 credits).
Aside from the sexiness, the update also includes gameplay enhancements, with changes to the Time Trial events’ penalty system, Drift Trial races now get a rolling start feature, new levels and earnings in Race Events, improved responsiveness with the wireless controller, and improved sound balance.
