Grand Theft Auto VI already in the works?

We were flabbergasted with what PLAY Magazine is promising to give us come May 17. While all of us have barely seen Grand Theft Auto IV‘s toes, it busts out with a claim that it has an exclusive on GTA VI in its upcoming issue.

That’s right. Rockstar Games‘ crown jewel may already have a sixth installment in the works. The series made popular by its ground-breaking play style and made even more notorious by controversy looks poised to dominate the next-generation of gaming with at least three titles. GTA IV ships later this year.

Waaaiiiiittttt a minute…. Could the people at PLAY have made a mistake and could this be a misprint? They could have switched the V with the I, right? Therefore, this may all just be another GTA IV exclusive. Whatever the case, we’ll find out next issue, won’t we? If it’s a “mistake,” we could all sit all day, whining that PLAY conned us.
