Guild Wars Scribe Update: Soldiers’ Pay Raise and Power in Numbers

scribeGuild Wars traveling Scribe sent word that Luxon and Kurzick soldiers are rejoicing upon hearing the news of a pay raise. With this, it’s not surprising that the new number of recruits has reached an all-time high. Money is always a great motivator, I say.

In addition to rewarding troops for their courage and bravery during battles, the Luxons and Kurzicks now reward faction to soldiers for their individual kills on the battlefield. Luxons have even put a bounty on the head of any soldier who fights for the Kurzicks. In retaliation, the Kurzicks have done the same for those  who stand with the Luxons. These have significantly benefited both factions. This could mean an even bloodier battle.

The Priests of Balthazar have reported that their war-loving god is very pleased with the conflict and has started granting his favor to those who slay the enemy. Soldiers will benefit from this as they gain favor when they slay a rival. This creates a whole new reason to join in the conflict.

Still on the war between the two factions, the Kurzicks are using a new strategy by merging squads into one large force, which allows them to focus their strength. The Luxons, on the other hand,  continue to split up their forces. Only time will tell which faction would emerge victorious.
