GWYLADYS! Five Years of “Dark Age of Camelot”!

DoACIn the ancient language of the original Britons (now known as Welsh), “Gwyladys” means “All hail!” It seems appropriate for the fifth anniversary of Dark Age of Camelot. In celebration, Mythic Entertainment is holding a Roundtable Fan Gathering in Las Vegas at the end of September. Players from Albion, Hibernia and Midgard (a sassunach realm?) are invited to join the folks from Mythic at the Rio Hotel and Casino on the 29th and 30th.

Fans in attendance will have the chance to meet their fellow gamers as well as the developers and get a sneak peek at whats head for DAoC. Those registering before August 25th will get a beta account for the next expansion along with the opportunity to win prizes from event sponsors such as NVIDIA, Creative Labs, NEC Display Solutions of America, Razer USA Ltd., Prima Games, and Crucial Technology.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate five years of Camelot and discuss the game’s exciting future than with the players who helped make it all possible,” said DAoC producer Walter Yarbrough. “Our plans for the seventh major expansion demonstrate our continuing commitment to Dark Age of Camelot. Those in attendance will be amongst the first to experience this exciting new content and see for themselves why Camelot has never been better.”
