Heavenly Sword demo gameplay video

If you’ve yet to download the Heavenly Sword demo that recently became available at the PlayStation Network, here’s a special treat coming from the good people over at Gametrailers: the gameplay video of the Heavenly Sword demo itself, with all the eye-candy your optical receptors can take.

In this video, we see Nariko throwing down on some hapless soldiers with her sword, tearing that giant piece of sharpened metal this way and that into bad guy flesh. Healthy amount of blood spurts with every finishing move – not too much that it turns into a Mortal Combat spoof, just enough to be artistic.

And artistic is definitely the word to describe each and every one of Nariko’s moves, ducks, lunges and strikes – it’s more of a graceful ballet of death than anything else. Ninja Theory‘s definitely got things right, no doubt about that. Enough spoilers from us, enjoy the video!
