Quite a number of games, such as Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as a King, have been announced for the upcoming WiiWare service on the Nintendo Wii. Hudson has announced that it will be adding Tetris to the already formidable line up of games.
While no prices have been revealed as of yet, Tetris is expected to be available by summer this year. Gamers can expect various features including Wiimote-based pointer and motion controls as well as various game modes. Fans of the series will also be pleased to know that this title is expected to have support for six-player online multiplayer games.
From all indications, WiiWare has the potential of becoming very successful with the number of developers deciding to support it. It wouldn’t come as a surprise to see this service take off when it becomes available.
