Incubus: because female Warlocks need some lovin’ too
It’s been a long-standing contention in the World of Warcraft community that the Warlocks have it good have had a pet that’s stuck on a single gender and female Warlocks aren’t happy about it. In fact, they’ve already begun to suggest that Blizzard add an option favorable for their tastes: summon a pet Incubus.
Incubi are the male versions of the seductive Succubi, and the suggestion is already starting to take flak from the other side of the fence. Males aren’t happy about seeing half-naked men subservient to their Warlock masters, although we take care to point out that it’s just as silly a reason as wanting only half-naked females to tail a male Warlock.
While the suggestion, made by Demura of Onyxia, hasn’t picked up any Blizzard reply yet, we’re pretty sure that the World of Warcraft community managers (and safe to say, waxxy Neth) has gotten wind of the suggestion. The idea won’t even force major changes in the mechanics, the addition could be implemented while the 2.1.0 patch is still under testing.
Whether or not it makes it to the game is understandably vague. Should Blizzard cater to the whims of the female Warlock community? Feel free to discuss. You can also feel free to read Demura’s take on the debate on the World of Warcraft Forums through the Via link below.
