In times like these we just have to realize that we can’t have it all: Chinese official Nintendo distributor iQue released a nifty limited edition Super Mario 64 DS-themed silver DS Lite, and we can’t just stop drooling at the handheld bling bling. Read on to check out the limited edition DS!

Official Chinese Nintendo distributor iQue has something sweet in store for Chinese gamers: a limited edition Super Mario 64 DS-themed DS Lite, and it’s got that nice metallic sheen that we’d love to have on our own handhelds. How’s that for handheld bling bling?

This limited edition Nintendo handheld bears the likeness of everybody’s favorite plumber on its casing, and it looks like its engraved. Coolness! There’s no news of this collectors item launching outside of China, so we’ll just have to stare at the picture and wish that it’s in our grubby little hands.

Super Mario 64 DS is one of Nintendo DS’s launch titles, a remake of Super Mario 64 produced for the erstwhile N64 console. The handheld DS remake features updated graphics that take advantage of the touch-sensitive capabilities of the Nintendo DS.
