Itagaki presents Ninja Gaiden 2 at Microsoft pre-TGS 2007 conference
Like a real sneaky ninja, Tomonobu Itagaki came out of nowhere to reveal an Xbox 360 exclusive that should get action fans off their seats. Ryu Hayabusa is coming back for another adventure in Ninja Gaiden 2, and here’s Team Ninja‘s leader at Microsoft‘s pre-Tokyo Game Show 2007 press conference unveiling their latest title.
After proudly dubbing Dead or Alive 4 as the premiere fighting game on Xbox 360, Itagaki promised a better Ninja Gaiden this time around thanks to the power of the new platform it’s appearing on. In fact, he proclaimed Ninja Gaiden 2 as the best action game in the world even before it appears on shelves.
Itagaki’s claim, while arguable, is not baseless. A demo played in real-time was shown on stage and it didn’t fail to impress. Gorgeous graphics, fast-paced action, and glorious gore combine to make Ninja Gaiden 2 something worth watching out for. Find out what we’re talking about by watching the video below.
